Raw Black Seed and Black Seed Oil
During Serenity Fall Equinox Cleanse we are focusing on
Healing Wisdom from the Ancestors
Black Seed goes back to the Bible and the Quaran

Hey Everyone

Today we are talking about a wonderful herb that I will call the poster child of the Healing Wisdom of the Ancestors. During our 2017 Fall Equinox Cleanse we  worked on Leaky GUT and Liver Detoxification.  Black seed is an herb that primarily detoxifies the liver. Of course, we are still concerned about getting you to a healthy weight as quickly as possible, but we know many of you are overweight because you are not absorbing your food or you have a toxic liver. A toxic liver alone can cause weight gain. See other Liver Toxicity symptoms below:

Black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa) have been used therapeutically for over 3,300 years since their first reported discovery in Egyptian Pharoah Tutankhamun’s tomb. Part of the buttercup family, the seeds are dark, thin, and crescent-shaped when whole.
There have been reports of these “magical” seeds used throughout history in the Middle East, the Mediterranean and India, for minor headaches and skin irritations to otherwise deemed impossible circumstances. Black cumin seed is regarded throughout the entire Middle East as one of the most powerful anti-carcinogenic herbs ever in existence…
  • Cleopatra used it as a beauty treatment.
  • Queen Nefertiti used black seed oil to bring luster to her hair and nails.
  • Hippocrates used it to cure digestive and metabolic disorders.
  • The Prophet Muhammad called it “a remedy for every illness except death.”
  • Archaeologists even confirmed King Tut kept a bottle of black cumin seed oil in his tomb –for use in the afterlife.
Black cumin has many ways that benefit the body, the 6 that stick out in the scientific literature its ability to help prevent cancer, diabetes, obesity, hair loss, skin disorders and infections like MRSA.
Dr. Sebi used Black Seed in many of his treatments and formulas
1. CANCER
Croatian scientists evaluated the antitumor activity of thymoquinone and thymohydroquinone in mice and discovered that the two phytochemicals in black cumin can result in 52% decrease in tumor cells!
Being rich in both chemicals, black seed is unique in that it can help prevent and treat cancer through a variety of mechanisms.
2. LIVER HEALTH
For those that have struggled with poor liver function due to medication side effects, alcohol consumption, or disease, black cumin could greatly
speed the healing process. In a recent study, scientists discovered that black cumin benefits the function of the liver and helps prevent both damage and disease.

3. DIABETES
Black cumin is one of the few substances on the planet that is suggested to help
prevent both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

If you can not tolerate the raw oil, consider the capsules.
This is how I like using the Black Seed oil

DOSAGE of the OIL
For those just beginning to take the oil initially one should take:
1 teaspoon 3 times daily for 2-3 weeks and thereafter a teaspoon
2 times daily.

This dosage may be increased when ill. As much as it is advisable
to take it continually, it is also advisable to sometimes not take it for
a couple of weeks so the body doesn't take it for granted.

For those taking capsules (some people find the oil far too pungent)
the equivalent of 2 capsules amounts to one teaspoon of oil.

4. WEIGHT LOSS
Black cumin is a marvelous anti-inflammatory agent that is known to help people lose weight in the same way that it helps diabetics. Specifically, by decreasing these weight gain triggers, black cumin has helped millions shed excess weight.

5. HAIR
Probably one of the most unique black cumin benefits is its uncanny ability to help restore hair loss. No one quite understands why it happens, but it’s not too hard to guess that it has something to do with its powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. By strengthening hair follicles, there is very good reason to see how black cumin can help promote strengthened hair roots.
6. SKIN
Known to promote and inhibit melanin production, black cumin benefits on the skin and other cells are profoundly healing. It is used topically in some cultures to naturally soften, strengthen and firm skin.
7. INFECTIONS (MRSA)
Of all the superbugs that black cumin seeds can kill, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the most important. The elderly population is especially at risk because it is generally associated with invasive procedures such as surgeries, intravenous tubing, and artificial joints. Thankfully, one of the strongest black cumin benefits comes to the rescue- black cumin can help slow down or stop MRSA from spreading out of
control.

If you think the taste of the raw oil, which is a toss up between castor oil and olive oil, but with a stronger odo, you may want to try one of the capsules. Here are my favort brands , but I am partial to Sweet Sunnah, shown above.

It comes as no surprise that black cumin seed oil has also been used by practitioners of Ayurvedic and Chinese traditional medicines for thousands of years for a similarly endless list of conditions, from migraines to diabetes to cancer. In recent years, it has been put to the test and several scientific studies confirm its long reported health benefits.
