In the Serenity, we test ph 2 x's weekly on our weigh-in days, which are Wednesday and Saturday. However, we have been testing pH in the program since it's inception in  in 1992.

pH testing, however, is now becoming increasingly popular. Thus, the work of holistic practitioners such as Dr. Sebi (Alakaline eating and Electric foods) and   Dr. Erhardt (The Mucusless Diet(, two of my favorite,  have been gaining well deserved renewed recognition for their work in this area.

The bottom-line is; when your body is too acidic it can grow cancer. This is your primary reason for why you should care if your pH is too acid. Many other diseases are rooted in an acid pH body

Oddly, the better pH brands are NOT available at your local pharmacy and they are a little pricey. I, therefore, recommend that you visit your neighborhood health food or hit me u  and I can share with you where our team purchases the best  pH strips, for the best price.

Just as your body regulates your temperature to an optimal 98.6°, it also regulates your pH balance, keeping it just slightly alkaline to be healthy. The problem is that most of the foods we eat tend to be highly acidic, which can easily throw our pH balance out of whack.
To restore the balance, the body then leeches important minerals like phosphorous, magnesium, and calcium from your bones and organs into the blood. Obviously, this process is not ideal. Keeping your diet in pH zen is, therefore, a great idea — but it also has its limits. There are those, for example, who believe that controlling the acidity of the body is the single best way to stop cancer in its tracks. Unfortunately, research has yet to confirm this. In fact, many health organizations report that changing (or trying to change) the pH balance of your body has zero effect whatsoever on cancer.
We return then to the leeching of minerals. Although stopping this process won’t cure cancer, it will strengthen bones, prevent blood pressure swings, and slow the development of kidney stones.
The Top 5 Most Acid Forming Foods to Avoid include:

General Guidance:

Stick to salads, fresh vegetables and healthy nuts and oils. Try to consume plenty of raw foods and at least 2-3 liters of clean, pure water daily.
General Guidance:

Steer clear of fatty meats, dairy, cheese, sweets, chocolates, alcohol and tobacco. Packaged foods are often full of hidden offenders and microwaved meals are full of sugars and salts. Over cooking also removes all of the nutrition from a meal.
