Let's EAT- PALEO STARTER KIT!

Hello All and Happy New Year again:

I am excited so many of you have expressed an interest in taking control of your health. Prevention is true health care reform and better food management is how we prevent disease from taking root in our body.

On this blog post I literally just threw together many of the staples that I personally keep in my fridge. It will help you to easily spice up your meals and help them to pass the "I Love Me" test.

Many of you realized that over the years you have drifted too far from a natural lifestyle, that you have no idea where to begin. Suddenly, even walking into the supermarket will feel strange, let alone a health food store. I recommend that you visit a Whole Foods or  Fresh Fields grocery; a farmers market (remember those) or even just a Trader Joe's grocer. Get acquainted with healthy food. In the supermarket though, here are some rules you may not know to follow:

First rule: always shop the PERIMETER of the store. Yes, even your grocer knows where to keep the healthy food. It almost seems like a conspiracy, doesn't it? In other words, the more you start going up and down the center aisles, the more man-made food. An exception to this guideline  includes spices, nearly all of which are permitted.

SECOND RULE: Caution about condiments: salad dressings, wet mustard (use dry and make your own) mayo and ketchup.
OK. You know where to reach me.   Talk soon
